Training Support

Applications Are No Longer Being Accepted 

The Wildfire Business Transition Program provides financial support for increased training needs of businesses and not-for-profits affected by the 2017 wild fire season.

Eligible organizations can apply for up to a maximum of $10,000 in training support as follows:

  • Up to $5,000 per owner/manager for self-identified training and/or Business Coaching (including travel costs).
  • Up to $7,500 for self-identified employee training – not to exceed $2,500 per employee (including travel costs).

The Wildfire Business Transition Program Self-Directed Training is a two-step application process. 

Application 1 is the Eligible Business and Training Plan Application.  This is submitted to the review committee to ensure that your organization and training plan meet the eligibility criteria for the funding.

If your Eligible Business and Training Plan Application is approved, you will be contacted with links to the Owner/Manager Training application and the Employee Training Application.
